MAATA Members select Cavalier Hotel as 2010 Symposium Site

Over 1000 MAATA members participated in the selection process for the host site for the 2010 Symposium. With 376 votes the Cavalier Hotel will host the 2010 Annual Symposium and Business Meeting. Myrtle Beach was the runner-up with 331 votes.

2009 Symposium Information

The 2009 MAATA Symposium was held May 15 - 17 at the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach, VA. If you were unable to attend here are some highlights:

Director Charlie Rozanski said his final goodbyes to the membership, as his term ends in June. We all wish him well as we know we have not seen the last of Charlie.
Pat Aronson was introduced to the members as secretary.
The site selection for the 2011 - 2013 Symposium was discussed.
The First Annual Quiz Bowl was held.
